What's Happening in Term 1, 2024
This coming January we are excited to offer three different levels of classes to cater to ages 5-15. Each term we explore a new theme:
Ages 5-8: "Our World of Colour". Each week we will look at a different colour, a different country and make a work that brings both together. All works will be collated into one large artist book to take home at the end of the term.
Ages 8-11: "Under the Sea". We will be exploring all things ocean this term with an emphasis on artistic process that are also good for our seas, including creating tetrapak prints, bricolage reusable shopping bags and plastic bottle jellyfish!
Ages 12-15: Printmaking Fundamentals. This term we will get comfy with the negative space and explore a variety of printmaking techniques including foam, linoleum and gelli prints (time permitting).
