F*CK ICE TSHIRTS
Hate ICE? Me too! Originally as an excercise to feel some kind of agency in a situation where I have none, I began creating f*ck ice screenprints on clothing to send to my family who were constitutional observers against the the ICE occupation happening in my hometown of St. Paul, Minnesota and birthplace, Minneapolis. These times have been deeply unsettling for me, my family, my friends and all of our neighbours. Yes I still call them neighbours even though I haven't lived in the country for over 20 years because that's how we Minnesotans roll - you take the girl out of MN but you don't take the MN out of the girl, donchaknow?
If you're here, you're interested in getting some handmade merch too. I am here to help. A few disclaimers. Am I a screen printer? No. Do I have formal training in this? Also no. Will there be some defects to your print? Most likely. I can assure you that these 'defects' add to the charm, ensuring you get a one-off piece of wearable art that I hope you enjoy, while giving the naughty finger to the federal government. Yee haw!
I am doing this literally for the love of my home state, and so I will be charging for the materials (T-shirt, some ink as it ain't cheap) and shipping only. I would also urge you to pay the remainder of what you might expect to pay for a handmade t-shirt via a donation to Minnesota Mutual Aid: https://www.standwithminnesota.com/. This is an honour system and I won't double check. But I do hope that you'll be able to offer what you can, in whatever way you can. I also accept letters/emails/phone calls/texts to your member of congress/government. Even if you're not in the USA you can write to your local member to urge them to standup to the USA and its horrific autocratic government that is actively harming its citizens.
